Natalie Crouter
Sevil Delin is a voice artist and writer based in Istanbul who grew up in the US, Turkey, Egypt, Hong Kong and the UK and studied English Language and Literature at Oxford University.
Her son plays Bedie Crouter. A trained voice actor and singer, she has acted in TV ads, short films, stage productions and musicals. As a voice actor her projects include narrator for Domino: The Little One video game as well as voiceover for more than 100 commercial clients. Sevil writes travel books, including the Louis Vuitton Istanbul City Guide and articles for such publications as The Guardian, Monocle, Conde Nast Traveller and Wallpaper. What drew her to the role was the similarities in Natalie Crouter’s life and hers.

Jeannie worked as a Broadcast Engineer for more than twenty years in one of the top television stations in the Philippines. After retiring, she gained a following as an announcer for a provincial radio station and taught voice acting, radio dramatization, DJ and program hosting, news reading, etc., at a private school. Her voice-over work started as a hobby that led to Jeannie voicing cartoons characters and being cast as Nida. Being a daughter of WWII survivors, she herself heard stories about the Japanese invasion in the 1940s, as told by her mom and dad, aunties and uncles, most of which have now passed on. Knowing a little bit about how her parents survived WWII, she can easily relate to her character.
